Welcome to Mirage. A photo manipulation app for your mobile device. With Mirage you can create collages of photos, text, sketches, and more.

1. Adding

To add an item to your scene tap the "Add" button. You can add:

1. Photo from your photo album.
2. Text.
3. Sketches that you create in Mirage.
4. Stickers (symbols) from Mirage's own library.

Select the type of item that you want to add (photo, text, sketch, or sticker).

2. Manipulating

Items can be manipulated in four different modes:

Position and scale (green)

• Reposition items by dragging them
• Resize by dragging corners or pinching
• Rotate by pinching

Crop (red)

• Change frame of photos and text without stretching by dragging corners
• Drag and pinch photos to reposition or rescale inside the frame

Perspective (blue)

• Drag corners to alter perspective

Warp (yellow)

• Drag control points to control warp

To change the mode tap "Mode" in the mode bar at the top of the screen

The current mode is shown next to the "Mode" button. Tap on this to use a set of default alterations (e.g. center of canvas).

Reflections

All items can have an artificial reflection attached to them. Example:

To add this effect, select an item and tap the reflection button.

You can adjust the gap between the item and its reflection and the top and foot opacity by dragging the sliders.

Lock and delete

You can avoid accidental changes to an item by tapping the lock icon. Tap the lock icon again to unlock.

Delete an item by tapping the "cross" icon next to the item.

Layers

You can change the ordering of items by tapping the "To front" and "To back" buttons in the position menu, in the "position" mode.

Manipulating Photos

Additionally, photos can be adjusted in the following ways:

• Frames: Select Frames for photos and adjust the frame width.

• Edit: Paint on and mask out portions of the photo.

• Filters: Apply basic image filters to photos.

• Shadow: Give photos a shadow (without frames). This also works with masked photos.
• Opacity. Adjust the opacity.

Manipulating Text

The following parts of text can be changed:

• Font face and size (auto or fixed size)

• Horizontal and vertical alignment
• Fill and stroke color

• Stroke thickness
• Shadow

Manipulating the canvas

Tap "Canvas" to change the canvas.

• Size. Tap the size button to alter the width and height ratio of the canvas:

• Background. Tap the style button to alter the background. Select gradient for single color or gradient style. Tap library to use one of the built-in backgrounds. Tap photo to use a photo from your library.

You can modify the scale and position of the background by pinching and dragging the background

Tap "Done" when you have finished modifying the background.

Sketches

A sketch behaves like a completely white photo. Use the brush and masking tool to change the default background or create a transparent sketch.

Stickers

Stickers behaves like photos, but you cannot apply photo filters and they cannot be edited.

Snap

You can control snap while dragging control points. Select an item by tapping on it and tap the "Snap" button on the top of the display. Choose between no snap, fine snap, or coarse snap levels.

3. Sharing

Once you are done, tap "Share"

You have the following sharing options

• Save to photo album
• Email as jpeg for low quality
• Email as PNG for maximal quality
• Upload to your Facebook library (Grant permissions before uploading).
• Upload to Flickr
• Upload to twitter.

4. Documents

To see you gallery of collages, you can tap "Documents"

Delete: To delete a document touch the document in the gallery section for a couple of seconds and then let go.
